Audrey was pretty much flawless throughout the open run. I didn’t see her miss a shot, and she consistently made excellent passes, finding teammates in position to score. She showed really good ballhandling ability as well, using nice fakes to create openings and keep defenders off balance.

Audrey is on the smaller side, which is more noticeable during drill work, but once the live action starts, she seems to play much bigger. Her skill level, confidence, and command of the game allow her to take over stretches and make a major impact on the floor.

Bocian brings great energy and vocal leadership to the floor, communicating with her teammates, facilitating, and helping keep them organized. She handles pressure well, using retreat-backs and her dribble to create separation before finding open looks. She also has a nice shooting stroke and can make strong takes to the basket regardless of bigger competition.

Audrey was very active on the floor and showed a good handle throughout the showcase. She displayed range from beyond the arc, knocking down threes off the catch and in transition. Although she was on the smaller side, she played with no fear defensively and was willing to pick up and defend anyone with the ball. Her activity, confidence, and competitiveness stood out on both ends of the floor.

One of the better IQ’s in the whole event! Understand how to play that game at a high level. Shot the ball well and was aggressive the whole weekend! One of the top 8th graders in the event that barely came up short in the platinum championship game.

Audrey Bocian Audrey Bocian 5'2" | PG Saint John’s College High School | 2030 MD proved size is only a number. Despite being one of the smallest players, she delivered one of the biggest performances. First, her fearless approach immediately stood out. Additionally, her explosiveness made every touch dangerous.

Meanwhile, Bocian’s quick first step consistently created downhill opportunities. As a result, defenders struggled to contain her in space. However, sagging off created another problem. Her reliable three-point range punished every late closeout.

Most importantly, Bocian kept defenders guessing. They constantly balanced her drive against her perimeter shooting. Consequently, she became one of the toughest covers throughout the combine.

Bocian is ranked as the top defender in the EYBL 15U division, using superb instincts and ball pressure to lead in steals (6.0 SPG). She turns defense into offense in an instant, stripping ball handlers and pushing the pace in transition while showcasing the poise and handles to finish through contact or create opportunities for her teammates. Her offensive game complements her defensive impact, as she can facilitate, attack downhill to the basket, and knock down perimeter shots.

Game changer is the best way to describe Audrey. Despite not being the tallest player on the floor, her impact was huge, beginning with her defense. Audrey used her quickness to pressure opposing ball handlers, and when she wasn’t on the ball, she shot gaps and generated steals that created transition opportunities. Audrey is a lockdown defender who immediately changes the energy of the game.

Audrey is shaping up to be a sleeper this summer as she steps up to play with Fairfax Stars’ 15U team. She demonstrates excellent ball control in the backcourt, particularly in half-court sets, where her composure and decision-making stand out.

She also caught the attention of several high school coaches, using her size effectively to get underneath defenders and attack the basket with authority. Audrey’s combination of skill and physicality makes her one to watch this season.
