One of the top Sophomores in the state, Breigh shot the ball well at camp and that’s what she’s known for. With her knockdown shooting, Jones was able to thrive on the open looks created for her by Stamper’s drives and kicks as she made a ton of shots. Jones also did her fair share of driving and finishing at the rim.

Breigh had a big-time freshman season, leading Grayson County with 18.3 points per game and earning All-Region honors. A talented playmaking guard, Breigh has a high basketball IQ and consistently makes her teammates better. She’s a skilled passer with great vision, able to read defenses and create opportunities. Offensively, she can get into the lane and make plays or drain shots from deep with confidence. Breigh also brings strong effort on the defensive end. With a very high ceiling, she’s already turning heads and continuing her development on the EYBL circuit with Kentucky Premier 15U.

When one gains varsity experience as a seventh grader, that means someone is doing something correct. That applies to Jones who had that opportunity with Grayson County. Jones was part of a 2023-24 Cougars rendition that finished with a 22-8 record (8-1 in its district). Toughness is one of the hallmarks of her game and she plays the game with a high basketball IQ – one that will only become more pronounced as her career blossoms. Jones knows when to shoot and when to attack the basket, plays hard on defense and delivers plenty of heart and hustle. Last season, she averaged 11.3 points as an eighth grader.

Breigh is a beast on both ends of the floor! In the game I watched she knocked down a deep wing triple, was excellent off the dribble, and made difficult shots look easy! She is a tenacious defender and had a big-time block as well.
