One of the most impressive players I saw during the entire event on Sunday, Eggers (pictured above) is a very long athlete who runs the floor well and has great feel for the game. She’s smooth the ball in her hands, shoots it confidently, defends with discipline, goes to get the ball off the glass with ease, sees the floor as a playmaker and finishes well around the rim with both hands. She stood out during both the 3v3 and 5v5 sessions, and will be a very fun player to watch continue to develop over the next several years. Her ceiling is sky-high.

#9 – We were first introduced to the Comets forward back in April and since then Eggers has continued to leave a lasting impression on numerous scouts and coaches alike. Standing at 6-foot-2 and still growing, Bri not only has height, but size and length, as well. Her motor never stops running, and she is one of the most tenacious rebounders we’ve seen in a long time. She consistently produces on both ends of the floor no matter the situation, and plays with a level of confidence we don’t often see. While we’ve watched Bri’s game grow a lot in the past six months, she is just scratching the surface of her potential.

Eggers has had an unbelievable year, emerging from the shadows to become one of the top prospects in the Class of 2028. She made our list of top defenders for the AAU season. She was in the running for Breakout Player of the Year and earned honorable mention. We’ve come to expect a lot from the big forward and on Sunday she delivered. Again. Eggers scored seemingly at will, rebounded with power and precision, and earned a spot on our top 10 performer’s list. Brianna is now a serious Division 1 prospect and at the Freshman Showcase she played like it.
