Unfortunately, illness cut Evers’ Expo appearance short – she wasn’t the only one who had to bow out for the same reason – but we still saw some encouraging signs from the 6’3 power forward/center from Andover. Most notably, Kenley’s comfort handling the basketball continues to improve. There are still decisions to refine regarding when and where to put it on the floor, but the progress is evident. Evers’ combination of size and a big frame naturally commands attention, yet her development into a more contemporary post prospect is what makes her increasingly interesting. She has good footwork around the basket, improved mobility and can step outside and knock down threes with a smooth stroke. Ranked just outside our top 50, Evers has an opportunity to play at a high level as her skill set evolves to turn considerable physical potential into consistent production.

Kenley was easily one of my favorite players to watch during the showcase. The 6’3″ post out of Andover has a great feel for the modern game and it shows in the work she’s clearly put into her ball handling and perimeter shooting. She showed no hesitation putting the ball on the deck from the outside and confidently knocked down a few triples with smooth form. Of course, her bread and butter remains the post where she used her strong frame and quick footwork to punish smaller defenders. With her inside-out versatility, Kenley is poised to be a matchup nightmare for opposing teams this upcoming season.

Kenley is the final new forward we’ve added to the Class of 2028 rankings. She’s a little off the radar at Andover where 6’1 junior Myla Evers Myla Evers 6'2" | PF Andover | 2026 State MN and 6’3 freshman Logan Miller Logan Miller 6'4" | PF Andover | 2028 State #58 Nation MN currently occupy most of the varsity post minutes. In due course, however, we think Kenley has a chance to be good. She has plenty of size and plays with energy. Evers isn’t afraid to do battle in the paint and she has a certain calmness about her. She has good hands and is a good passer. It’s really early but never too early to pay attention to a 6’3 freshman.
