She stayed in motion – bringing energy to the floor, attacking the rim, and scoring on drives to th rim. What was really impressive about Cooper was her athleticism and explosiveness. Cooper was also active on the boards and consistently gave her team extra possessions. Cooper scored multiple baskets in the game observed, but production alone wasn’t the storyline—her energy and activity level set the tone. Every trip down the court she brought a competitive edge. Her effort doesn’t show up in the box score, but absolutely impacts the game.

A strong, physical player, she battled hard down low, grabbed rebounds, and protected the rim with a notable block. Cooper also showcased her versatility with smart plays in transition, contributing on both ends of the floor. For just a sophomore, her all-around game and maturity stood out, making her a player to watch as she continues to develop this season.

Brooklin was first in rebounds and second in points, steals, and blocks as a Freshman at Mainland. She now makes the pivot to a New Smyrna Beach team that will look to defend their State Title with the loss of some important guards, but they do return some key pieces and add some as well. Her body control, soft touch, versatility, frame, and work in PNR situations really stood out to me over the summer on a 15U Essence squad that was full of 2028 talent.

Brooklin has a great frame and feel for the game at a young age. She’s strong and was able to finish at the rim with either hand using solid body control. Brooklin shoots the ball well from deep with nice form too.

Brooklin has made a huge jump in the rankings and finds herself in the Top 20. She has a great frame and nice size. Her release is high on her shot and very smooth as well as accurate. I definitely think she has the skill and opportunity to keep rising up these rankings.

Brooklin’s ability to score inside and make key stops made her a standout presence throughout the weekend. Her impact was undeniable, and she continues to show she’s a player to watch as her game keeps growing.

As her game continues to evolve, she remains a key player to watch.
