Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Calista impacted the game with her aggressive rebounding and efficient finishing on the offensive end. She took the opening tip straight to the rim for a layup, drilled a wing 3, and added another full-speed layup in transition. Calista muscled her way to offensive rebounds and helped the Vikings to a dominant win, earning All-Showcase Second Team Honors.

Scouts and coaches can find Blue with her Michigan Mystics P24 2026 team. Blue is a player that I’ve been very high on since the PGH Top 250 Expo last year. She can attack the rim with power on a straight line drive. Blue plays very well as a screener and can roll off it aggressively to the rim.

Blue is a versatile basketball player who excels both inside and outside the paint. She has a great outside shot and can also make mid-range jumpers with ease. Additionally, she is able to penetrate the defense and finish at the rim even when faced with contact. Her hustle and decision-making were impressive throughout the entire weekend, particularly in transition.

had me hooked on her game at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250. She’s strong and physical and I think actually plays better through contact. What highlights her game to me is her willingness and ability to make plays off the ball. Blue is capable of playing bigger than her height and battling on the glass. She’ll make a hustle play this spring or summer that will be worthy of “One Shining Moment”.

Blue is a shining example of why every player in the state that has college basketball aspirations needs to be at the PGH Top 250. She got me hooked on her game in Grand Rapids and I have no doubt that she can play at the next level. Blue can and will do all the little things from setting a tough screen to playing through contact and getting to the free throw line.

Blue showed coaches and scouts that she’s a prospect to have on the radar. She did a lot of things well. One that stood out was her ability to set a solid screen and to play off of it. Blue was tough around the rim and often times manufactured looks at the basket with her footwork. It seemed like she was able to draw a lot of fouls at the event.

Blue made some real noise this summer during grassroots season and the City Slam Championships would be a great place to continue her run with guaranteed coverage. Blue can be a real scoring threat off the wing and can show that off at this event.
