Madison Washington Madison Washington 5'8" | CG Virginia Academy | 2026 State VA does a great job as a secondary ball handler for Virginia Academy . She does a great job driving the ball, and shes lethal going to her left. She was great in the first half of this game, and I think throughout her high school career, she has been one of the more underrated players in NOVA.

Washington played with patience and purpose, particularly in transition. She secured defensive rebounds and pushed the pace, using hesitation moves and strong ball control to navigate traffic and finish at the rim. Her ability to recognize defensive mismatches and attack decisively led to clutch buckets. Washington’s size and IQ made her a reliable two-way contributor throughout the game.

Madison has been a good shooter and a consistent playmaker and when she gets her feet set she can hit shots anywhere on the floor. Good when attacking the basket she identifies when she get off the three point and can get a layup. As an underrated defender she understands how to play passing lanes and can move her feet well to get easy steals!

Madison Washington Madison Washington 5'8" | CG Virginia Academy | 2026 State VA is another PVI guard who didn’t play much but could take a leap this summer. I watched Madison a few times last summer, and she was impressive. Madison is a player with a lot of ability on both ends. She is active as a defender and a high-IQ player on offense. She can play either guard position and with a PVI backcourt that is crowded, this summer will be telling for her.

I watched Madison Washington Madison Washington 5'8" | CG Virginia Academy | 2026 State VA play a couple of times this past summer, and she was extremely impressive. The day that caught my eye was watching her at the Fairfax Stars summer spectacular. She was active defensively and played as hard as anyone at the event. She is a high-IQ basketball player, and her passing was fantastic. She got to the rim and finished numerous times. She knocked down open shots and created much of her team’s offense. She is a sleeper that I see having an outstanding sophomore season.
