#9 – Watkins has grown into a long, athletic and increasingly confident wing whose physical tools are ideally suited to the college game. At about 5’10 she moves extremely well laterally, elevates over defenders and has the quickness to create off the bounce. Georgia is comfortable putting the ball on the floor and navigating through traffic, using her explosiveness to reach the rim while continuing to develop confidence as a perimeter shooter. Her length and athleticism are equally valuable defensively, where she can disrupt opposing guards and wings and contribute on the glass. The most encouraging development in recent months has been how much more assertivene she is now. Watkins has become stronger, more polished and more willing to attack opportunities when they appear. With her combination of size, athleticism, ball skills and defensive versatility, she possesses considerable long-term upside.

Much like her twin sister, Georgia’s game continues to rise. The North Tartan and Minnehaha Academy product impressed with her ability to put the ball on the deck and maneuver through tight spaces to get where she wanted. She played with confidence from the perimeter and didn’t allow a few misses to deter her, staying aggressive and continuing to hunt good looks. Georgia’s impact went well beyond scoring. She competed on the glass, brought consistent energy on the defensive end, and found ways to make her presence felt throughout the day. There’s a toughness and confidence to her game that continues to become more noticeable each time out. Paired with her sister on the wing, Georgia helps form one of the more intriguing duos around. Their ability to attack defenses in different ways gives opponents plenty to account for, and trying to take one away can quickly create opportunities for the other. As Georgia continues to develop and add layers to her game, she’s becoming a player defenses won’t be able to overlook.

Many will already be familiar with Watkins. Both Georgia and her twin sister, Shea, have asserted themselves as strong contenders in the Class of 2030. Georgia, a 5’10 wing, is built for the college game. She’s quick, moves well laterally, elevates over defenders, and has a long, lanky frame. The Minnehaha Academy 8th grader is proficient with the ball in her hands, easily exploding off the bounce to get to the rim. On the defensive end, her length and athleticism make for a consistent threat along the perimeter. The North Tartan standout is definitely a player college coaches will want to get to know.
