Relatively unknown heading into the AAU season, Walker’s recruiting profile has increased dramatically since we first wrote about her back in May. At the Freshman Showcase on Sunday, she demonstrated exactly why. On top of her high-level athleticism and innate feel for the game, Hadley (pictured above) showed her ability to impact the game in a wide variety of ways. The 5’11 guard used her length to create disruptions and alter shots on defense, crashed the glass on offense for well-timed put back buckets, and consistently made hustle plays that resulted in extra possessions for her team. Proctor will be the team to see this winter, and Walker is taking no small part in that.
