In any situation she is always balanced in her stance, her legs are set, her feet are shoulder width apart, and she is ready to shoot the ball a lightning rate so it doesn’t get tipped or blocked. In her team’s first contest of the weekend, Swartz helped her team to a victory hitting some catch-and-shoot jumpers from about 5FT behind the three point line. She didn’t seem to force any of these shots but instead, she just took what the defense gave her and she made the most of it. I do think that Swartz is a next-level shooter and player overall. If she can find her fit within the right system, she could thrive for years to come.

She can do some other things herself as a guard but her best ability is definitely working off the ball, looking for three point bucket opportunities. That alone should get her on a college roster. From there, who knows where else she might take things.

I heard she has been working on her defense, rebounding, and creating ability all off-season so we should find out early on in the year if it paid off. With the weapons she has around her to produce, she is going to find a lot of open looks these next few years. If she can be efficient in that aspect, everything else in her arsenal can play off of that ability and that’s how she can take things to a whole other untapped level.

Defensively, she is getting better and always up for a challenge. This season she has made leaps and bounds in that department but she still has a ways to go. If she were to continue to work on her craft and work on the correct things, she is going to be a killer the rest of her high school career and possibly onto the collegiate floor afterwards.
