I am thankful that Kaden decided to suit up for the fall league. She’s one of the state’s most productive bigs with not enough fanfare. D-III schools are wisely hunting her services. McCorvey put up 9 points, 16 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks against Creekside. Kaden’s ability to rebound in traffic and her patience with her back to the basket on offense make her one of my favorite forwards to watch.

NAIA and D-III programs are tracking Kaden. McCorvey is an effective rebounder that knows how to score with her back to the basket. Against Palmetto 76ers Select, Kaden ripped down numerous tough rebounds in traffic. She scored through contact inside and had no hesitation when catching and firing from the mid-range. McCorvey tallied 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block.

Kaden needs to start getting her flowers. She is a consistent force on the low block. McCorvey has a high IQ with her back to the basket. She is patient and has great footwork in the pivot. She is an active offensive rebounder and has a soft touch from 15-feet and in. On Sunday she sank three mid-range jumpers including a turnaround against Wood Elite. McCorvey finished with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Kaden is an interesting prospect for schools of multiple levels. I am a big fan of her game.

McCorvey is a player that knows her role and does it to perfection. A player that loves the short corner jump shot but also can rip and attack baseline. A true workhorse that protects the paint and can guard positions 1 through 5. A player that plays with so much energy that its contagious to her teammates. High IQ combo player that knows how to take what the defense gives her and use it to her advantage. A player on numerous coaches’ radars.

Kaden has always impressed me with her offensive game. She is patient inside with her back to the basket, implementing drop steps and up-and-unders. McCorvey high-points rebounds and is a nuisance as a putback machine. Her defense is an underrated part of her game.

on their recruiting boards this offseason. She is a really good low post scorer that has a variety of moves and knows how to finish around the rim. McCorvey rebounds the ball at a high level and blocks a handful of shots. Kaden has a soft touch from the mid-range that helps loosen up defenses.

Up from No. 100: McCorvey gets after it inside. She’s a good rebounder and a steady scorer around the rim. Kaden has a nice repertoire of back-to-the-basket moves to pull from and has a quick second leap to collect and misses.
