Schuman, as she often is, was one of the top players, at The Expo, and continued to show a complete, well-rounded game, that has her rising up the 2029 rankings. As dynamic of a guard, that I have watched, Schuman has the versatility to be in not only a leading role, offensively, but she also makes things happen, off the ball, defensively, and notably on the glass where she is one of the better rebounders regardless of size.

The Brillion native is a well-rounded guard who can score and handle the ball under pressure. Schuman is comfortable creating for her teammates and helping initiate her team’s offense. She’s also versatile enough to excel in either backcourt role and make winning plays. I also love how willing she is to dig in and rebound as a guard on either end.

Schuman, for the second time this month, showed me a terrific all-around game that resulted in 13.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.2 apg, and 1.9 spg in her freshman season at Brillion. One of the more dynamic players, off the dribble, Shuman had no problem, getting to the basket and finishing around traffic or kicking it out to open shooters. The aspect of her game that was probably most impressive is her rebounding ability where she often out efforts her opponents uses great body positioning.

The Brillion native was a player who did it all at the high school level this season and helped her Lions team get the most out of what they had. Schuman is a player who can create with the ball and be the focal point of an offense at the high school level. I thought she had her moments down in Texas at the first 3SSB stop in Bryan, and I think she has plenty of room to add to what she does on both ends.
