Peterson, as she commonly does, was one of the top players at the PGH Expo a couple of weeks ago. Playing with a maturity, that is beyond her years, Peterson’s smooth offensive skillset was again on display as she continued to show improving three-level scoring and the ability to make her teammates around her better with high IQ plays.

The Fox Valley Lutheran guard is a skilled kid who plays at her own pace. No defense can speed her up, and she gets to her spots offensively. Peterson can score from all three levels and create open looks for her teammates when defenses collapse on her. She takes what defenses give her and makes the right play every time she has the ball. She doesn’t get too high or low emotionally, but she does bring an edge to the floor when she’s out there. She’s fun to watch.

The Fox Valley Lutheran guard plays at her own pace. I haven’t seen a defense take her out of her rhythm, and I don’t know how many people could make her uncomfortable with the ball in her hands. Peterson can get to her spots, score from all three levels, and create for herself and her teammates off the dribble. She makes everything look easy and can pragmatically pick a team apart when she’s at her best.

The Fox Valley Lutheran guard is a player who I enjoy watching when she’s at her best. Peterson has a smooth style and can create space from her defender without dribbling. She has a stoic look when she’s playing, but you can tell she is one of the most competitive players you’ll find anywhere in the state. There is room for her to grow, but there is plenty to like about where she’s at right now.

Peterson is one of the more under-the-radar young talents in Wisconsin. She plays with the poise of an upperclassman, and as a newcomer and focal point of her high school team’s offense, she never flinched. She plays at her own pace, creates, scores from all three levels, and has solid length for a lead guard. She may not play for one of the shoe teams in Wisconsin, but she’s one of the more intriguing young players in teh state.

The Fox Valley Lutheran guard makes everything she does on the floor look routine. The lefty is comfortable handling the ball under pressure and has been one of the more impressive guards I’ve seen skill-wise in her class. She can get to her spots and score from all three levels and create for her teammates each time down the floor.

Incoming sophomore Peterson burst onto the scene, last season, leading the Foxes in scoring at 15.6 ppg and to 21-4 season, in their first season in the Bay Conference, and she looks to have gotten even better this summer. Very dynamic offensively, Peterson is a very mature, young player who is as equally comfortable getting to her spots knocking down 10-25 footers, with a very quick release, or running lead guard and unselfishly finding cutting teammates.

The Fox Valley Lutheran guard missed the first day of games, but did attend the second day. She has a poise to her game that’s palpable whenever you watch her play. She handles pressure well and is comfortable with the ball in her hands, and helps generate open shots for her team every time down the floor. I’ve enjoyed watching her operate on the ball over the past few months, and she is a player who is slightly under the radar for the talent she has. She has a chance to be an excellent guard.

The Fox Valley Lutheran guard is an easy player to enjoy watching operate on the floor. Peterson is a sure-handed lead guard who can create for herself and her teammates consistently. The left-handed guard is also a confident player who can get to her spots and put defenses in uncomfortable positions. She has quickly become one of my favorite players to watch in the 2029 class and should be an intriguing player to follow over the next few years.

The pace at which lead guards play says a lot about how they view the game, and Peterson understands the value of playing at her own pace. Peterson plays to her strength and doesn’t allow defenses to take her out of her rhythm on the offensive end, which has led to immediate success at the high school level and continued success at the grassroots level. She has the tools to be a player who gets the most out of players around her and scores from all three levels off the dribble.
