Brady Peterson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
The Fox Valley Lutheran guard is an easy player to enjoy watching operate on the floor. Peterson is a sure-handed lead guard who can create for herself and her teammates consistently. The left-handed guard is also a confident player who can get to her spots and put defenses in uncomfortable positions. She has quickly become one of my favorite players to watch in the 2029 class and should be an intriguing player to follow over the next few years.

The pace at which lead guards play says a lot about how they view the game, and Peterson understands the value of playing at her own pace. Peterson plays to her strength and doesn’t allow defenses to take her out of her rhythm on the offensive end, which has led to immediate success at the high school level and continued success at the grassroots level. She has the tools to be a player who gets the most out of players around her and scores from all three levels off the dribble.

. The Fox Valley Lutheran guard doesn’t need to blow by defenders to get by them. She has a solid change of pace, controls the ball under pressure, and reads the game at a high level. She plays at her own pace and refuses to let defenses speed her up. In a setting like grassroots basketball, where most teams press, I’m excited to see her look to pick defenses apart and generate open looks in semi-transition.
