“Stricklin is a quick PG with fast hands and a knack for being in the right place at the right time. She moves effortlessly with the ball, leading her offensive coming down the floor in both the half-court and full. Three-level scorer with the ability to create and distribute.”

maybe the best Guard out of this 2024 Class that no one has been talking about. Stricklin is a 5’7 Point Guard for Omaha Westside High School and she has been on fire this winter for her team in every way you can imagine. As of most recent, Stricklin was named as a First-team player in the Metro Holiday Tournament. A big deal when you consider that the other 4 players chosen are all D1 commits or will be in near future. In fewer words, Stricklin can GO. That’s the best way I can put things. She makes quick decisions, demonstrates touch near and far away from the basket, and she is very fast with her dribble coming down the floor in transition while staying in complete control. This is another one of those prospects that doesn’t seem to have a lot of college interest at the moment but she should. She does too many good things to not be noticed. If she continues on this pace for the rest of her Senior season, she is going to end the year as one of the most productive and sound Guards in this 2024 Class.

of Omaha Westside. Sticklin is a player that we have recently covered this month and a few times over the past year because of her productivity on the basketball court. Stricklin has smarts, physicality, a quick first step, and discipline by the hoop. Offensively, if she ever faces an opportunity where she can take her defender 1v1 with some time, she usually makes a strong move, ending with a great finish near the rim. Defensively, she stays down and does a great job of weighing the risk/reward of going for a steal. This defensive isn’t flashy or anything crazy but efficient and productive. This Westside team is only going to continue to have a successful season if they stick to the basics and continue to ride what has been recently working. They have some interesting pieces personal wise, they just need to continue to work on the right things moving forward and this could be a winter to remember for this group.
