Kennedy was a busy bee stealing the rock all day! She ended the game with 7 steals! I love her defense and the pressure she puts on the ball! She made it very difficult for the opposing team to set up their offense because she allows very little breathing room while defending! Great handles and sees the floor well! (Below with ball)

Ellison has made her mark in this class by being one of the best defenders, and she does that with no drop off of energy. Whether it’s on ball, or off.. she will disrupt an entire offense. Offensively, the work behind the scenes is definitely being done. She seems more confident on that side of the ball and now shoots it with no hesitation.

One of the best on-ball defenders in the state, regardless of class, and what she can do on the offensive end can’t be overlooked as well. She’s a player who sticks in the gym, puts her head down, and gets to work. Players like that can elevate. program the moment they step foot on campus.

Ellison loves the defensive side of the ball, and usually guards like that bring a different type of energy to their program and teammates. She’s active, locked in, and shows a ton of coachability. Being a defensive standout, you’re prone to make mistakes. Whether it’s gambling for steals or playing too tight up. I’ve watched multiple times where she has made those mistakes and given the coach her full attention when they were giving feedback. A kid who will run through a wall for her team and coach.

Kennedy gave Example Sports 2026 Wolfpack a spark on Sunday with her scrappy defense and passing vision on the offensive end. She kept her hands active to deflect passes and swiped the ball away for multiple steals, then showed an explosive second gear using crossover dribbles in transition. Kennedy finished a full-speed layup, secured rebounds, and helped her team take home the Championship trophy at our Victory Region Finals.
