About Lauryn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Three-level scoring combo guard with a strong mid-range game who loves running in transition and plays scrappy on defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Strong desire to do whatever I can to help my team win!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm a member of my school's national honors society, and my family and I serve meals at our local women's and children's homeless shelter.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm continuing to develop my leadership and communication skills. My high school coaches desire me to lead our team and set a positive example for my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Taking AP and Honors classes has been challenging while I'm working to continue developing my game. The workload can be heavy, and dealing with the stress of keeping my 4.2 GPA while working to better my game has been one of my biggest challenges.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for colleges that offer pre-med or are willing to support pre-med requirements, along with having a competitive basketball program and team.
