Molly Noelck Molly Noelck 5'9" | PG Johnston | 2023 State IA and the Johnston Dragons stayed undefeated after their win on Monday night to move to 15-0 thus far. Noelck and company have been super dominate this year and it was no different on Monday night against Cedar Rapids-Jefferson high school. Molly scored 13 points and dished out 10 assists on 5/5 shooting from the field and looked like a real play maker out there. I always say how it’s hard to shine on this team because of how good each, individual player is and the skills they possess but she is doing a great job of being consistent for her squad up while making an impact in each contest up until this point. Moving forward this team is going to be the most popular in the state, and have been for a minute now, as they have 4-8 players who could play at the next level, Noelck included. Once this season comes to an end and the dust settles I’ll be intrigued to see where everyone stands, offer and interests wise.

Molly Noelck Molly Noelck 5'9" | PG Johnston | 2023 State IA , like other players on this Johnston team may not get shouted out the most in the public media but they simply that get the job done and get it done efficiently. Noelck, another great guard for the Dragons, has been having a good senior year along with the rest of her squad. In her last contest, she recorded 12 points on some really efficient shooting, going 5/7 from the field and 2/4 from behind the arc. We always touch on how good this Dragons team is and how well they play together. I think this season, with them being the favorite to win it all again, a lot of these players are going to be getting some college looks that they have been working towards for a long time, including Noelck. As the season comes to an end and playoffs begin I hope to see her continue her efficient play and really be a solid piece for this team on the way to the state championship for a second season in a row.

Molly Noelck Molly Noelck 5'9" | PG Johnston | 2023 State IA didn’t start a game her junior year for the Dragons but came off the bench to make a huge scoring difference later in the game. The knock down sharp shooter averaged 8.7 PPG, 1.9 RPG, and shot 45.6% from the three point line on 114 attempts to lead her team. Noelck will look to come into the starting role this winter and build off the momentum she had last year, making an impact as a shooter. Even though the seniors from last year made all the difference for the Dragons, they will have some good experience coming off their bench in the form of shooters, rebounders, and defenders.  They will have a good chance to piece it together and compete once again during the 22′-23′ season.

Molly Noelck Molly Noelck 5'9" | PG Johnston | 2023 State IA is the final undeclared top 10 ranked player in the state of Iowa in the 2023 class coming in at #8. Noelck came off the bench for Johnston High School last winter as their sharp shooter on the road to becoming state champions and ending the year at 26-0. On the entirety of the season she averaged 8.7 PPG on 47.6% shooting, including 45.3% from three point range and 76.7% from the free throw line. Molly will be asked to expand her role and start for the Dragons during the 22′-23′ season as their shooting guard. This will give her a chance to show everyone that she is more than just a shooter and can compete on any level. Her efficiency as a shooter will bring a lot of eyes this season from the college level.
