Paige has been stepping up for Lake Washington, playing at a very consistent pacer all season long. She excels in her role as she has a versatile offensive game and can adjust to what her team needs. She is a player that you can rely on to hustle hard and give 110% every possession on both ends. With how Lake Washington is playing, Paige could be helping them win a state championship.

Paige is one of the top 2 way players in the entire state. She guards the best player on the opposing team every game and does such a fantastic job utilizing her athletic ability to help slow down whoever she’s guarding. She had a big game against North Creek, having 20 points and 9 steals.

Citron is one of the better defenders in the state and her IQ on that side of the ball is evident in the way she reads plays off the ball, racks up deflections and steals, and the confidence she shows to get up in ballhandlers and force mistakes. She’s also a real threat from behind the arc and plays with some scrappiness that translates to winning basketball.

Citron has been a force over the last two years, taking home back-to-back DPOY awards in the KingCo 3A and earning first-team all-league last season. She shows great feet to get set quickly moving from different directions to knock down outside shots. Plays a well-rounded game; second on her team in points (11/game), first in assists (4/game) and steals (3/game), and led the way in FTM and FT%. The Kangs bump up to the 4A this season and Citron will be a huge piece as they should be one of the top teams again this winter.

Paige is a player who is very confident in her ability to shoot the ball at an elite level. She can shoot it very well from three-point range, and she’s very confident and calm at the free-throw line. What makes Paige even better is that she’s not limited to just her shot, but when defenders step up, she is very good at finding the extra pass. A confident player, Paige should be a leader for this Lake Washington team.

Paige has one of the prettiest of anyone on this list. She has a tight shooters pocket, and leaves little room for error. The catch and shoot is excellent, she always has herself square and ready to shoot it. I don’t know what her percentage was, but I would bet she didn’t miss many free throws either. She has some of those other guard qualities that I like as well. She is a high IQ player, she sees the floor well and drops some nice dimes as a player who is unselfish to say the least. She is talented but she would rather make the right pass, then he to try and do too much. She does have some tricky and flashy plays when she gets distracted to the basket. She does not, however seem to be out of control hardly ever. Part of the best backcourt trio in the state with Ashley Uusitalo Ashley Uusitalo 5'9" | SG Lake Washington | 2026 State WA and Julia Benthin Julia Benthin 5'8" | CG Lake Washington | 2027 State WA . I’d put the latter two in my all mid-range list as two of the better scorers off the dribble.

Paige plays on one of the top teams in the entire state as Lake Washington has been a top team in the state every single year for quite a few years, being one of the top 3A teams in the state. Paige plays alongside some very high level guards but she knows her role perfectly and excels in it. Lake Washington can throw out different combinations with 2 guards or even 3. Paige’s high IQ help het get shots off or find weaknesses in the opposing teams defense. She has a lights out deep shot too, so defenders need to be aware of her at all times.

While not quite as flashy as her two backcourt mates, Paige has her own special talents. She is a shooter, and an elite one. She does things right, doesn’t make a lot of mistakes and epitomozes true guard play. She is sneaky good or great at getting to the basket under control to make plays. Her basketball IQ is one of the best I have seen lately in the state of Washington. A guard any coach would love to have.
