Sometimes it can be tough to standout when you have a talented roster around you but stay consistent, play your role, and don’t turnover the ball and that should lead to some sort of opportunities. This is the situations we have with PG – Reese Almquist Reese Almquist 5'7" | CG Bennington | 2026 State NE and Bennington High School this Winter. Bennington is loaded at the Guard spot but Almquist knows what she does that and she uses that to her advantage. She stays in her lane, creates off the dribble as a facilitator first, while playing better than average defense. Bennington is going to have a chance to make a run come Playoff time and when that happens it’ll be all hands on deck so I’m excited to see how Almquist show out. For now though, she falls into the #64 spot in this Update.

Bennington High School is going to bring back most of their roster from last Winter when they went 22-5. Not only will they bring back most of their main producers, they will bring back these producers as mainly underclassman. Someone who is not an underclassman though, that should see some Varsity minutes once again this season is Reese Almquist Reese Almquist 5'7" | CG Bennington | 2026 State NE at the PG position. In this system with the young talent they have it can be hard for guards to see big time each game. Everyone just has to make the most of every opportunity they receive and Almquist does that to a T. She steps in, doesn’t force unneeded action or shots offensively, while being a sound defender overall. The Badgers should make it back to Lincoln once again come State Time this season and I’m hoping that Almquist can play an impactful part in that.
