This Wayzata sophomore appears to be on the cusp of a breakthrough. Long, lean, and highly mobile, McFarland is the type of wing player whose two-way versatility is sure to translate to the college level. A member of North Tartan ‘s 15U EYCL team, Samantha has taken a big leap this summer in terms of her aggressiveness on both ends of the floor as well as her overall skill level. It may be some time before we see the 5’10 small forward play at the varsity level for the Trojans, but the potential is certainly there. She enters the rankings at #82.
