Expert Analysis
Sam Duren | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Harmon had a strong stretch in the third quarter which swung the game in Norman North’s favor. While she’s often known for her scoring it was plays on defense and assists that really sparked the Lady Timberwolves. Plays with a great pace on the ball, either smoothly stepping into jumpers or just as smoothly making great passes to teammates. Set up her teammates with accurate passes near the basket that led to easy scores. Bucket getter and teammate elevator.

Harmon put Norman North on her back with a full scoring arsenal. Has a great in-between game and feel on drives, beating her defender then stopping before help slides over and lofting shots over their outstretched arms. When she did run into contact, she was strong and often finished through the contact while also earning trips to the line. She’s connected on big threes in the the second half and filled the stat sheet with rebounds and assists to go along with her scoring. Due to the elite talent at the top of the class, Harmon at times can go overlooked. But is every bit one of the top scorers in Oklahoma.

After a season of putting up loud scoring numbers with Norman North, Harmon looks to have fit perfectly into a role as a mobile defender and good secondary scorer for the deep 3SSB team. When needed to, she finished around the hoop, along with knocking catch and shoot threes confidently. More promising signs of her all around game came with moments of creation in setting up teammates off ball screens and in transition.

Harmon is an agile driving wing, who can navigate through traffic to finish well at the rim. With either hand. There’s little wasted motion when she redirects on drives, as she’s smooth and always look in control at her own pace. When needed she had a little burst to get by defenders but seemed at her best when playing off two feet and making great decisions to shoot it or kick to her teammates. There was variety in her scoring package as she scored off an post up and hit a three as well. The junior had a game high 19 points.

Seleh is one of the few players on the 17U squad that isn’t committed yet and trust me, that isn’t for lack of offers or interest. She is poised and confident and her game is built for the next level. A gym rat who relishes the work, Seleh is incredibly hardworking on both ends of the court. Seeing her out there with this Swift squad was a joy. Harmon is in her element when playing with other D-I athletes. She has myriad ways to score. She can fill it up from long range, stop and pop, or finish (with either hand) inside.

Seleh is a player that has improved tremendously over the last few months. She is a player with loads of potential and continues to increase her production and value on the court. She has an attack mentality at the point guard position, has size to see the floor, and makes good decisions. High-basketball IQ, competitor on the court, and an elite shooter from outside. She led her Norman North team to the 6A state tournament – she was the standout player and displayed that she is primed and prepared to perform on the big stage.
