It’s hard not to get amped watching Bakkar play. She brings an intensity and fire to the game that her teammates feed off of. Bakkar showed once again last night that she plays effectively fearless basketball. She’s not afraid of the big moment, and in actuality like last night, she thrives in it.

Bakkar was a standout player during grassroots season and she showed that her high level of play in the spring and summer was no fluke. Just like then, it was her energy and leadership that stood out. When her team’s shots weren’t falling, she was ready to step up and make a play. Bakkar made big plays and stops on D and showed that she could hit a teammate cutting to the basket while on the move in transition.
