Saya Sabas (Ralston Valley)
[player_tooltip player_id="117682" first="Saya" last="Sabus"]Standing at 5-foot-9 Sabus shows relentless effort on both ends of the floor, and can score in bunches. She does a
great job getting to the paint, and finishing around the rim or a midrange jump shot. She is the second leader on her team in points with 10.2 points per game. The energy that she brings makes her a tough competitor. She is an able to shooter from anywhere on the floor shooting 97-264 (37 percent), and 33-106 (31 percent) from behind the arc.
Deb Altshuler Deb Altshuler 5'8" | CG Erie | 2022 CO (Erie)
Altshuler has been showing tremendous improvements in her game. As a freshman she averaged 7.5 points per
[player_tooltip player_id="95176" first="Deb" last="Altshuler"]game, 3.1 rebounds per game, 0.8 steals per game. In her sophomore season she has increased her production on the floor averaging 11.5 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game, and 2.0 steals per game. Altshuler can get it going from anywhere on the floor, has a quick release, and does well finishing in the paint through contact. She shot the ball 117-256 (46 percent) from the field, and 39-110 (35 percent) from being the arc.
Kylie Krise Kylie Krise 5'11" | CG Briggsdale | 2022 State CO (Briggsdale)
[player_tooltip player_id="117683" first="Kylie" last="Krise"]Krise shows the ability to create scoring opportunities for herself off the bounce. She can light it up it bunches on the floor, averaging 20.6 points per game this past season on 172-374 (46 percent). Krise became the 2nd leading scorer in 1A, and she is a good rebounding guard. She averaged 7.9 rebounds per game, 3.5 assist per game, and 3.4 steals per game. Krise has a good instinct on the floor getting her hands in passing lanes to force turnovers.
Evenyce Gutierrez Evenyce Gutierrez 5'4" | SG Mullen | 2022 State CO (Mullen)
On a very talented team that was on their way to compete in the 4A state championship game. Gutierrez is a player that is under the radar for some. She can be a valuable addition to the Mustang varsity as she continues to prove what she can do no the floor. Despite only averaging 1.4 points per game, 0.5 assist per game, 0.9 rebounds per game, and 0.2 steals per game. Gutierrez has the potential to be a tough player to defend has she continue to develop and improve.
Amaya Charles Amaya Charles 5'6" | SG Grandview | 2022 State CO (Overland)
Charles leading the pack for her team in scoring with 13.7 points per game. Despite being on a team with a record of 2-21 Charles shows signs of being able to knock down open shots, shooting 52-169 (31 percent). She also leads her team in steals with 1.7 per game, and averaged 1.6 rebounds per game. Charles scored 302 points this past season on 113-340 (33 percent) from the field. As she continues to develop, and improve her game she can continue to add a lot of value to her team.
