Continue ReadingPeyton Jones Peyton Jones 6’0″ | SG Valor Christian | 2026 State CO had an unusual freshmen season as she battled through injuries that sidelined her for most of the season. When she was eventually able to come back, she didn’t have enough time to knock off the rust. So, after being able to play a full summer, she came into the season healthy and in shape. Which made all the difference for Valor this season. Peyton can knock down the 3-pointer at a high rate, she is always set when off ball and her release is quick making it tough to contest.
Highlights
As a young player Aaliyah is the prefect example of someone that is willing put in the work and constantly add to her game. The strides she’s made over the last two years, have separated her from other players at her position. Being a more efficient shooter off the dribble and when spotted up have relay made her a tough guard.
Highlights
The driving force behind Kent Denver’s big run this season was Austin Duncan Austin Duncan 6’2″ | PF Kent Denver | 2026 State CO and her break year as a sophomore. Duncan is double-double machine that has started gain some guard skills as far as handling the ball in traffic as while as creating her own shot. As a defender she has elite athleticism, which allows her to defend 1-5.
With the transfer from Sand Creek to Mountain Vista Kennedy Spellman Kennedy Spellman 5’8″ | CG Mountain Vista | 2026 State CO got to put her talent on display at the 6A level. Although the season may not have ended how she wanted it to end, she was confident in her abilities to impact the game at the highest level. This year she was one of main scores offensively for her team, with her extended range opposing teams were forced to pick up her before she crossed half court. Allowing her to get downhill and put pressure on the defense.
Highlights
The importance of a having a true point guard has started to become overlooked. With a lot of guards now being more offensive minded the game has shifted to that. So being able to watch Addison Beck Addison Beck 5’7″ | PG Cherry Creek | 2026 State CO impact the game without taking a ton of shots and truly wanting to get everybody involved has been great. She is most dangerous when leading the break in transition, with you having to respect her ability to score but also her willingness to hit her open teammate on time and on target.
