Marya Hudgins Marya Hudgins 6'0" | SF Grandview | 2022 State CO (Grandview)
Hudgins is a versatile player who can score in a variety of ways. She shows that she can shoot the ball off the catch, as well as off the bounce. She was third on her team in scoring while playing with some of the top players in the country. Hudgins also moves her feet well on defense, keeping her opponents in front to force turnovers. She averaged 10.1 points per game last year on 107-of-241 (44 percent) shooting from the field. Hudgins also averaged 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assist per game as a sophomore and showed she able to create off the dribble, and can attack the rim with different finishes using her length and solid frame.
Avery Bang Avery Bang 6'1" | PF Chaparral | 2022 State CO (Chaparral)
Bang stands at 6-foot-2, which makes it tough to stop her due to her physicality and size in the post. She has a great touch around the rim and has great footwork in the post. Bang plays the game with a lot of energy and can shrink the defense. She shows signs of being able to attack the rim well from the perimeter and finish through contact while driving to the basket. Bang led her team in points and rebounds per game as a sophomore and was also the most efficient player on her team last year, shooting 108 of 261 (41 percent) from the floor. Overall, the Chaparral junior averaged 12.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in 2019-20.
Grace Moyers Grace Moyers 5'8" | CG Erie | 2022 CO (Erie)
Moyers has been making a name for herself in recent seasons, largely because of her ability to score the ball at an elite level. She is a player who can knock down shots from midrange extending out behind the arc. Moyers has great foot speed and does well in transition heading in both directions. That foot speed allows her to jump into passing lanes to deflections and turnovers. She led a deep Erie team in scoring last season, averaging 14.7 points per game on 137-of-342 (40 percent) shooting from the floor. Moyers also shows signs of putting the ball on the floor and finishing with great touch around the rim.
Kylie Krise Kylie Krise 5'11" | CG Briggsdale | 2022 State CO (Briggsdale)
Krise is looking to be the top scorer in class of 1A and is a top candidate for player of the year in her classification this upcoming season. She has great court awareness and a high basketball IQ, which helped her average 20.6 points per game on 172-of-374 (46 percent) shooting from the floor in 2019-20. Krise can score in a wide variety of ways and is tough to contain with her ability to create off the dribble. A good rebounding guard that can push out in transition, Krise has great change of pace and also averaged 7.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.4 steals per game as a sophomore. She has scored 874 points already in her career and is on track to putting up 1,000 points by the end of her junior season despite it being shortened to 14 games.
Alex Pirog Alex Pirog 6'3" | C Highlands Ranch | 2022 State CO (Highlands Ranch)
Pirog does extremely well running the floor and has improved greatly at making herself an easy target near the rim. Standing at 6-foot-2, she has great size and length, which make her an outstanding rim protector who can either get her hands on blocked shots or make shots tough for opponents. Pirog averaged 7.6 points per game last year on 85-of-154 (55 percent) shooting from the field, scoring nearly all of her points from inside the paint. Pirog also led her Highlands Ranch team with 7.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in the 2019-20 season.
