Reychel Douglas Reychel Douglas 6'0" | SG Millbrook | 2023 State #41 Nation NC (Millbrook 2023 guard)
The offer list continues to pile up for Millbrook junior guard Reychel Douglas Reychel Douglas 6'0" | SG Millbrook | 2023 State #41 Nation NC and she continued to show why she’s one of the top prospects in the country. Douglas is the complete package for a guard: really good playmaker, efficient scorer, and also defends the opponents best player. After a stellar spring and summer, Douglas will have Millbrook in position to have a great 2021-22 season.
Sydney Barker Sydney Barker 5'6" | PG Jordan | 2023 State NC (Jordan 2023 guard)
Speaking of efficient guards, another prospect from the Triangle that stood out was Jordan’s Sydney Barker Sydney Barker 5'6" | PG Jordan | 2023 State NC . The junior guard is a lights out three-point shooter, makes the right reads as a passer, attacks the basket and finishes with either hand, defends multiple positions. Barker is true floor general and her offer list is only going to grow going into her junior season.
Darrionna Howard Darrionna Howard 6'1" | PF Clayton | 2023 State NC (Clayton 2023 forward)
Clayton forward Darrionna Howard Darrionna Howard 6'1" | PF Clayton | 2023 State NC is poised to have a big junior year after starting to earn Division One offers over the last portion of the AAU season. She’s started to stretch her game out to three-point range and handles the ball very well at her size. Howard can defend one through five at a high level and several coaches from around the Carolina’s took notice especially during the live period.
Caroline Thiel (Rocky Mount 2023 guard/forward)
Rocky Mount’s Caroline Thiel set the tone defensively making a huge impact at the Carolina Top 100 camp. This 2023 prospect is one that college coaches should keep an eye on this season because Thiel is a double-double machine. Not only does she score at a high rate, she does so efficiently especially in the mid-range game. Expect her to have a breakout junior season for the Gryphons.
