Nebraska Top 250: Top Shooters

The Top 250 Expo stopped by Nebraska and had some big-time performances on the day. There were plenty of top scorers, defenders, and playmakers. Here, we focus on the players that got it going from deep -- the shooters. [player_tooltip player_id="315899" first="Jordan" last="Metzler"] - Jordan has great range from deep. Not many defenders will guard that far from the hoop and she understands that she can make them pay from out there. Jordan has unlimited range as she will size up a three and knock it down which forces the defense to know where she is at all times. [player_tooltip player_id="297339" first="Sammy" last="Leu"] - Sammy put on a shooting display with her quick release and accurate three-ball game. She clearly improved her stock with her ability to consistently knock down shots and score on the day with range. Be on the lookout for her this season. [player_tooltip player_id="278024" first="McKenna" last="Murphy"] - McKenna used a well-rounded shooting display to dominate games in spurts. She is a microwave scorer that gets it going in multiple ways but the jumper was on point and she had disciplined shot selection that helped with efficiency. [player_tooltip player_id="316454" first="Mya" last="Montoya"] - Mya got herself going, hitting threes and it carried over to her having confidence on the court to display her other abilities. Having the ability to hit shots from deep opened up the rest of her game and allowed her to score easily. [player_tooltip player_id="277736" first="Mya" last="Skoff"] - Mya did a lot of getting to the hoop but she also has a respected jump-shot. She scored with ease at the event and stepped out and knocked down plenty of 3-balls. [player_tooltip player_id="336032" first="Taylor" last="Berkheimer"] - I saw Taylor knock multiple threes down on a couple of occasions. She showed good range and three-point ability but also made sure that other players got involved as well. She moves without the ball and is also a scoring threat. [player_tooltip player_id="336037" first="Jaeden" last="Webb"] - Jaeden was fearless and confident shooting the three ball. She made a ton of them as well which had her stand out on the day. She was one of the few that rose her stock tremendously and has people taking notice. This will be a big season for her/ [player_tooltip player_id="305776" first="Addison" last="Sullivan"] - Addison was impressive with her ability to shoot the three with her length. She has some very good upside in the coming years. Addison was a major stock-riser from the event. [player_tooltip player_id="300325" first="Emily" last="Wiebelhaus"] - Emily was able to show off her shot a little when she was given time behind the three-point line.If she set her feet she was able to knock down the shots and it does take much for her to get going. [player_tooltip player_id="276517" first="Rylee" last="McLucas"] - Rylee was nearly dominant at times and her inside-outside game made her tough to handle. When she is able to shoot the ball well, the rest of her game comes easily and that was on display. [player_tooltip player_id="297340" first="Libby" last="Hoffman"] - Libby was one of the top set three-point shooters in the event. You can’t leave her unguarded as she catches a pass into her shot.
