Christian Sanders Christian Sanders 5'7" | PG Detroit Renaissance | 2024 State MI (PG, Detroit Renaissance)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #14
Honestly, I don’t care what her ranking was before. Her stock is rising with every game so far this high school season. She can handle, score, and dish. And all at high levels. The upside is tremendous for Sanders.
Maya Anderson Maya Anderson 5'9" | PG Detroit Cass Tech | 2024 State MI (PG, Detroit Cass Tech)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #16
Anderson is another that the number really doesn’t even matter because she showed big time game during showcase season. She has lower body strength that allows her to brush off contact and finish at the rim. Anderson is a multi level scorer that must always be accounted for.
Bri Thomas Bri Thomas 5'9" | CG Trenton | 2024 State MI (CG, Trenton)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #28
Thomas was one of the 2-3 biggest risers from a numbers standpoint. She’s a long and athletic shooter that can go over top with her shot and stay focused on the rim. Thomas is a solid defensive player that won’t hesitate to hit the floor for a loose ball.
Faith Jungwirth Faith Jungwirth 6'0" | SF Lansing Catholic | 2024 State MI (SF, Okemos)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #35
Jungwirth was another of the biggest stock risers in this update. Her combination of power and touch is almost unmatched. She can bulldog her way to the rim as well as use a nice 2 dribble drive. Jungwirth is very active on the glass could easily average a double-double.
Tayla Dillard Tayla Dillard 5'10" | CG Kalamazoo Central | 2024 State MI (CG, Kalamazoo Central)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #45
Dillard grabbed a lot of attention during showcase season. She’s an athletic scorer that can glide to the rim as well as spot up from beyond the arc. Dillard is a solid 2 way player as well. She has a ton of upside and it will be fun to watch her develop her game.
Jordan Popyk Jordan Popyk 6'1" | SF Novi | 2024 State MI (SF, Novi)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #56
I really noticed Popyk’s game at a Flight Hankamp Open Run in Jackson. Her versatility was border line stunning. She was able to defend at a high level both in the paint and on the perimeter. Popyk is long, athletic, and full of potential.
