ZaKiyah Johnson ZaKiyah Johnson 6'0" | SF Sacred Heart | 2025 State KY , Sacred Heart – Zakiyah is on a trajectory right now to be the best player to come out of Kentucky in a long time. She was the best player on the best team in Kentucky this season and is going to be playing 17U EYBL again this summer after playing up 4 grade levels last season. She’s going to be hard to knock off this top spot but this class is so loaded that she’ll definitely have some competition.
Leah Macy Leah Macy 6'3" | PF Bethlehem | 2025 State KY , Mercy – If not for Johnson, Leah and Ciara Byars Ciara Byars 6'2" | CG George Rogers Clark | 2025 State KY would get their flowers as top players in the country as well. Macy is a hyper talented forward who can score all over the court and rebounds at a high rate. Her perimeter skills just keep improving and she already has over 20 D1 offers and she’s not even a Sophomore yet. Look for her to be a nationally ranked Top 50 player in 2025 in the near future.
Ciara Byars Ciara Byars 6'2" | CG George Rogers Clark | 2025 State KY , GRC – Ciara is another high major player in this freshman class. She’s a matchup problem for everyone as a big guard and her long term potential is right up there with Zakiyah. GRC was one of the best teams in Kentucky this season and if not for Sacred Heart, would likely have been cutting nets at Rupp Arena. Look for Byars to have a huge summer of AAU and continue racking up all these D1 offers.
Halle Collins Halle Collins 5'11" | SF Knox Central | 2025 State KY , Knox Central – Collins has been a name that’s been known in the 13th region for multiple seasons already and bounced back from last season’s knee injury to get back to the form that earned her several D1 offers before she ever entered high school. She narrowly missed averaging a double double this season and should for the next 3 years. She’s a tough matchup for any region foe and will earn more offers this summer.
Peyton Bradley Peyton Bradley 5'9" | CG Meade County | 2025 State KY , Meade County – One of the best pure scorers in the class, Peyton helped get the Green Wave into the Elite 8 at Rupp and is set up nicely for future trips back to Lexington in March. She’s a versatile scorer and a big time shooter who shot an impressive 45% from three this season while making more than 3 per game. Don’t be surprised if she adds several scholarships to her list this spring if she plays in AAU like she did this winter.
