Lackey vs McDonough top players
Nadeya Regala – 5’9″ – Combo Guard – Lackey – 2025
Nedeya has one of the quickest releases in the game and is deadly accurate. She controlled the game totally in the first half for Lackey scoring 12 of her game high 22 points. In the second half, she was asked to do everything tying her teams total score output in the third and was the only Chargers player to score in the entire fourth quarter.
Cailyn Samuel – 5’8″ – Guard – McDonough – 2024
Cailyn is a very active and athletic guard. She was the defensive specialist on the team assigned to guard Regula for nearly the entire game. She did a very good job keeping the freshman phenom in front of her, denying her the ball for a good part of the third quarter and making her work hard for every shot in the fourth.
Kennedy Hall Kennedy Hall 6'3" | SF Shabach | 2025 State MD – 6’3″ – Wing – Lackey – 2025
Kennedy has a lot of length and was very effective in the post with her back to the basket. She also showed the ability to work the perimeter game and her mid range pull up was clicking in the second quarter. She scored 12 points but only 2 points in the second half as the Rams made adjustments on defense an mounted their comeback.
Reagan Mason – 5’10” – Wing – McDonough – 2025
Reagan scored all 5 of her points in the first half but her real value came on defense in the second. She was all over the court deflecting passes and causing havoc.
Alona Jones – 5’5″ – Point Guard – McDonough – 2024
Alona was solid at the point, she handled the pressure and got her team into their offensive sets. She scored a team high 12 points just by playing hard on both ends.
Raylin Lee – 5’9″ – Guard – Lackey – 2023
As the Chargers frantically searched for a body to put on the floor, Raylin was a consistent option that didn’t foul and made free throws. She finished with 4 points and had a couple good looks at the end that could have gotten them to overtime. With that said she was one of the best options outside of Regala and Hall.
Lauren Jones – 6’3″ – Center – McDonough – 2022
Lauren was probably the key to victory. McDonough was constantly at the line as they were up 8-0 on the foul total early in the third quarter and they didn’t shoot particularly well from the line. Lauren, however, was 5 of 6 from the stripe and 4 for 4 in the last minute of the game which was crucial in a two point victory.
