Top Performer Paisley’s Pick #1
Libby Fandel Libby Fandel 5'11" | SF Cedar Rapids Xavier | 2025 State IA – Team Iowa 2025 Blue Star – 6’1″- 2025 Guard, Xavier HS (IA) – Libby was a dominant force on the court all weekend. She is a major matchup problem and her game is really blossoming very early. She has so much length she will be a very capable small forward at the next level one day. She plays the game with a tough fierceness you would love to see in your player. Quiet and lets her game talk. She pressures you on defense with her length and hands. To me she is the “Claw” of Iowa basketball right now. She will take your cookies and go dunk them in the milk every time. Amazing finisher and a great all-around teammate. My 4-year-old said she wants to play like her one day and I got so happy. This girl has so much upside. As her jumper and the three-point game develops she will be a matchup nightmare for a while. 2. Addison Klosterbuer Addison Klosterbuer 5'9" | SG Central Lyon | 2023 State IA – South Dakota Attack 2023 – 5’11” – 2023 Guard – Central Lyon HS (IA) – Addi “Buckets” was on full display this weekend for her South Dakota crew. This Iowa girl can flat-out hoop. She is by far one of the shakiest players in the state and she plays the can with so much swag its so much fun to watch and hype. Mamba Mentality type player who really impressed me with how she defended all weekend. No side of her game is weak. She was banging with the bigs getting a lot of boards and pushing the pace for her team when needed. Her step-back three-point game is lovely and her form is beautiful. When she plays relaxed she is one of the toughest matchups in our state and the Nation. University of South Dakota Commit will shine all summer I have no doubt. 3. Doneelah Washington – ETG Midwest Elite 2024 – 6’1″ – 2024 Center – Lincoln Northeast (NE) – Washington has the potential to be a force at the power forward position at the next level. Her game is strong and she bangs and battles all game against double and triple teams. Rebounds the ball efficiently and is a great rim protector for your defense. Once she learns to play above her shoulders she will have a tough game to stop. Has enormous reach and once she develops her hands she will have D1 potential one day. Highlights at
4. Britt Prince – ETG Midwest Elite 2024 – 5’11” – 2024 Guard – Elkhorn North HS (NE) – I have already dubbed Britt the “Blonde Princess” of basketball and I could write a book about how to play the right way with her game. Prince is a master on the court. She can play and goes at the rim with swag and authority no matter her victim. She ran the show with effort and ease. That display was fun to watch. She consistently made the right play, breaking down smaller slower defenders and dropping dimes or scoring. She shoots the ball with great ease and form. Plays the game at 100% the whole way and doesn’t get caught up in the foul drama. She gets beat up and still attacks which I love. 5. Maren Westin – Minnesota Comets 2023 Elite – 5’9″ 2023 Guard – Becker HS (MN) – Maren is a hooper. She has a very high basketball IQ and does all the little things on the court you look for in a complete player. She plays with swagger when she leaves that hand upon girls it’s hands down man down every time. When she gets set and the room it’s like a Klay Thompson game all day. Very efficient and plays defense and rebounds great for a guard. The complete scoring game was fun to watch she can really fill it up. A walking double in school ball and AAU. 6. Allie Haabala, West Central United 2025 – 5’5″ 2025 Guard – Alexandria HS (MN) – Haabala has a euro step-back two-step game that will freeze defenders. She measures girls up with her sharp handles and attacks with precision. True scorer with an efficient floater game. She gets to the rim and finishes well. Her game mimics a Curry to me. A long aggressive defender who can grab the ball and go and make the right play. Tough matchup for smaller guards. Highlights at https://www.hudl.com/profile/17139683/Allie-Haabala/highlights
7. Melina Snoozy, South Dakota Attack 2025 – 5’9″ 2027 Guard – Dakota Valley HS (SD) – This young girls’ game has some big things coming as she grows. She played up two years, you couldn’t tell she was younger at first so I’m telling you don’t sleep on this girl’s game. Aggressive and strong she fought so well against the older girls. “Baby Snoozy” will blossom next year and is already starting to show flashes of brilliance in her game. 8. Victoria Jennissen – West Central United 2025 – 6’3″ 2025 Center – Sauk Centre HS (MN) – AKA Tory. Jennissen is going to be the most dominant girl in Minnesota high school basketball we might see for a while. If she isn’t on your list to watch develop your missing out on a rare gem in the midwest. Tory showed me she is working on her footwork and post-game big time. Strong and confident already. She blocks shots without fouling and plays hard. Protects the rim and gets you a lot of boards. 9. Abigail O’Reilly – Minnesota Rise 2023 Wolfe – 6’1″ 2023 Forward – Plainview-Elgin-Millville HS (MN) – Abigail is a very effective post who plays the screen and roll game well. She plays the game with a strong arm. Blocking shots and working the mid-post till she shimmies and shakes girls to the rim. Great footwork could be a possible power forward at a high level one day. 10. Sonya Potthoff – Minnesota Comets 2023 Peterson – 5’9″ 2023 Guard – Mahtomedi HS (MN) – Potthoff plays the game with a calm cool style. She rarely rushes her shoots and is so effective from three she can lull you to sleep. That’s she hits it in girls’ faces with footwork and step-backs. Or puts it on the floor and finishes well. She defended strong and has a smooth effective game. Highlight at https://www.hudl.com/profile/13879257/Sonya-Potthoff/highlights
