Cassidy Geddes Cassidy Geddes 5’7″ | CG Newton-Conover | 2023 State NC goes to school just outside Charlotte, but she has to be included on this list. She has the same composure throughout any game no matter what kind of competition she is facing. This also means that she has a mean streak when it comes to shooting the ball in someone else’s face even from behind the arc. She reads the floor well always knowing the best way to get her team some points, and that usually includes her shooting the ball from anywhere or taking it all the way to the hoop. On the defensive side of the ball, she sits down and keeps her opponent in front of her.

Samyha Suffren Samyha Suffren 5’8″ | PG Cannon | 2023 State NC is a fun athlete to watch, especially with the way she elevates over her opponents to score her points no matter where she is on the court. Her athleticism is on display when she takes her three point shots, and opponents have trouble trying to stop her from scoring after she is in her jump shot position. She is an excellent ball handler, too, knowing how to maneuver the ball to get around her opponents.
Mia Xerras Mia Xerras 5’6″ | CG Myers Park | 2023 State NC is dangerous from behind the arc putting up shot after shot that seem to go in even when the pressure is on late in a game. She does an excellent job being ready to shoot off of a pass from a teammate, and she does the hard work, too, of finding the open space to show it off. She also runs the point guard position well controlling the tempo of the game, facilitating plays, and finding her open teammates as they get open.
Alyssa Lewis Alyssa Lewis 5’7″ | SG Hickory Ridge | 2023 State NC seems to challenge herself more and more with the distance that she can shoot from behind the arc. Even with hands in her face, it’s a sure bet that you will see the ball going through the hoop when she puts up a shot. She does well driving hard to the basket, too, battling against contact to get some points. Her ability to drive and penetrate the paint opens up the floor for her teammates as well, so she can make some nice passes into them to get her team some points.
Reese Wilson Reese Wilson 5’10” | SF Myers Park | 2024 State NC shouldn’t be left open anywhere on the court, but she makes that difficult with her constantly moving to find the open areas. She is a sharp shooter from behind the three point line, and she sneaks into the paint staying ready to catch a pass and score. Her height gives her a lot of advantage going against opponents in the paint as she battles for some points using her power dribbles or she is going after rebounds.

Delanie Hill Delanie Hill 5’7″ | CG Providence | 2024 State NC has been a versatile guard in the Charlotte area for years showing off some nice handles and even more solid shooting from deep. She does an excellent job creating plays for herself using her handles to create space, or she moves well without the ball finding the gaps in the defense. She is certainly good at increasing the tempo pushing the ball up the court whether she takes it all the way herself or she finds an open teammate filling in the lanes.
