Laniya Scales Laniya Scales 6’2″ | SF Quality Education Academy | 2024 State NC is long, and she uses that on quick close outs to block shots while she’s playing defense. She can guard around the perimeter or inside the paint. Her versatility translates well to the offensive side of the ball as she is able to power through finessing her way to the basket or knocking down shots from behind the arc. She has a way of getting up and over people to score her points.
Highlights
Reese Wilson Reese Wilson 5’10” | SF Myers Park | 2024 State NC is another player who does it all for her teams, and she does everything so efficiently. Her shot from deep never seems to have an off day, and she creates space finding her open teammates for their own points, too. She does well tracking the ball knowing how to block shots, grab rebounds, or jump into passing lanes. Her Myers Park team will definitely be one to watch this season with some new key players that have been added to their roster to further help Wilson.

Raven LeXander Raven LeXander 6’0″ | SF Myers Park | 2024 State NC is one of the newer players at Myers Park. She brings length being able to get up high for some rebounds, and she moves quickly up and down the court making sure she is ready for the pass in transition. She has a quick release on her shot making it difficult for anyone to get into position to affect it. She can certainly guard all five positions on the other end of the court as well.
Icyss Storm Icyss Storm 6’1″ | SF Grace Christian | 2025 State NC seems to stay in the right place at the right time sliding to the block for the pass or getting in perfect position to get the rebound for her team. She does the same thing when sliding into passing lanes to grab steals, and she’s effective at pushing the ball up the court for fast breaks. She doesn’t back down when someone is trying to drive towards her and takes it as an opportunity to block some shots.
