The first set of evaluations for the '26 class has been released. After watching this group over the past few months, it is arguably the most talented class in New England. Through the July Live Period and the PGH Freshman Showcase, I got a good look at dozens of the prospects representing the region. For this being the initial list, I capped it off at 50 players and the remainder of the athletes on the watch list. As we head into the fall, I will further evaluate all the players and expand the list as we head into the winter/new calendar year. Below are the top 10 prospects I have watched thus far.

Ravosa has the size and skill that propels her to the top of this list and I feel like she hasn't scratched the surface, yet. Her ability to stretch the floor consistently with her outside shot complements her play around the basket. I like Ravosa because she doesn't settle for the three-point shot, even if she is arguably the best shooter at the PF position. She will be tough on the glass, play with physicality and finish with ease. Defensively, Ravosa has good instincts and does a good job getting herself in position to block/alter shots.

I have been high on Warren for months after watching her have a solid season at Thayer last winter, and then at the PGH Freshman Showcase; she was sensational. When she catches the ball deep in the post, she has the strength to explode through contact and routinely get to the free-throw line. She is dedicated to the glass and secures second and third chance opportunities for her team. When Warren plays inside/out, she is as dominant as anyone in the class.

Benigni stole the show at the PGH Freshman Showcase, and then at the UA Elite 50 Camp a week later, she was just as impressive. She is a high-impact player on both sides of the ball and competes harder than anyone in the class. What separates Benigni from other guards is that, I feel, when things start going bad, she has the ability, toughness, and intangibles to get her team back on track. I trust her handling/securing the ball, making plays, and getting timely stops in high-leverage situations.

Muir is another electric two-way guard who proved to be one of the class's best floor generals over the past few months. Defensively she can lock up anyone in the backcourt thanks to her elite lateral quickness. Muir also rebounds and sees the floor wel. She is a complete player and has proven all year long that her game translates against some of the best competition.

Corcoran is one of the most talented offensive players in the class. She might be the only one I have seen who can consistently create and make shots from the perimeter on good defense. In my opinion, she is the best passer too. Corcoran can fit the ball into traffic and tight windows, lead cutters to the basket, and get the ball out quickly when leading the fastbreak.

I think Fitzgerald has the best chance to crack the top 5 by the next evaluation update. Her 5'10'' frame and ability to play and defend multiple positions increases her ceiling. She has a high IQ, is a deadly three point threat, and can create in the mid-range. Fitzgerald sprints to spots, has good hands and has a soft touch with both hands around the basket. You cannot ignore her upside and potential as a top freshman in the region.

After the PGH Freshman Showcase, I mentioned that Burke was the most versatile two-way guard because of her ability to defend both backcourt positions and play off the ball. She has the unique combination of size, length, and athleticism at the position, which gives her a significant advantage on offense. Whether it be Burke filling up the scoring column with a three-point barrage or being a menace in passing lanes, she will find a way to impact basketball games.

I've watched Sullivan literally play every position on the court effectively. I saw her in practice the other week, and I was impressed with how efficient a scorer she was off the dribble. She has a great off-hand and can bully defenders to the basket with her upper body strength. Sullivan has sound footwork around the basket, doesn't shy away from contact, and absorbs defenders.

Dwyer's ability to get downhill and into the second level has always stood out to me. Out of everyone in the top 10, she is probably the most explosive scorer. She can go out and get you 20 points quick, easy, efficiently and from all three levels. Dwyer can keep the defense off balance with her change of speed when crossing over and can finish on bigger defenders in the paint.

Derba is a lethal lefty sharpshooter and a gifted passer. She has the ultimate green light once she crosses half court. What makes Derba dangerous is that if you play her for the jumpshot, she has the handle and quickness to jet by her defender and set up her teammates when driving. Derba's insane court vision, passing accuracy and shooting acumen are more than enough to get her to crack the top ten.
