Continue ReadingIt’s early in her career but it looks like “Z” is going to be among the best players to ever come through Kentucky. Johnson has won a state title and holds offers from nearly every major school in America already. Zakiyah has been playing 17u AAU at the highest levels the last 2 years and has established herself as a top 2025 in America.
Macy, like Johnson, holds a ton of offers and has been playing at a high level of AAU the last couple of years. Leah is a versatile forward who is among the best Sophomores in America and probably deserves even more accolades than she gets now. Look for Leah to continue being a dominant force for years to come.
Because of the powerhouse duo at the top of the rankings, Ciara gets overlooked sometimes but would be the top prospect in almost any other class in Kentucky. Byars is a versatile guard with great size and consistently improving skill level. She can play on or off the ball and is capable of posting up smaller guards or dragging bigger defenders away from the bucket.
One of the best pure scorers in the class, Bradley helped get Meade to the state tournament last season and has her eyes on a return trip in 2023. Peyton is an elite shooter from range as she shot almost 45% from three last season and knocked down 83% of her free throw attempts last year. Look for Bradley to average over 20 points per game this year.
Highlights
Halle has been a known commodity in this class for a while now and has been a top 5 prospect at worst for the entire time. Collins already holds double digit D1 offers and has shown no signs of long term effects from a knee injury suffered a couple of years ago. Watch for Halle to continue adding to her long list of D1 offers and career accomplishments this season.
