A blue chip prospect with the size and skills that translate to the next level. The eye opener was when she stepped out and hit the three. It was smooth and in rhythm. 6’4 and athletic with great shot blocking and post scoring. Those are the obvious reasons she is highly regarded as a top recruit nationally. When I saw the threes, no need to see more.
Strong and straight up to finish on the block. She also has good hands. and moves well for her size. It’s the strength and size combined with scoring talent on the block. She has a rare combination of talent and size.
Her footwork on the block and the ability to step out and hit the three. I was more impressed with the footwork on the block. I watched her over the summer and she was able to make a lot of ground using pivot moves and fakes that got her layups.
Highlights
Length and athletic ability that screams potential. She has good quickness and can move her feet and follow the ball getting lots of blocked shots. Also showed a nice touch from the free-throw line.
She fills up the stat sheet. She rebounds, gets steals, and scores. She doesn’t always score a lot of points but she’ll likely show up in other areas. Versatile forward with a high-energy style of play.
