Lauren Farrell is a strong presence in the middle getting rebounds and putting up shots all across the paint. She did a nice job using her fakes to get around her opponents and open up the court for her teammates. She slid into the openings taking advantage of her defender stepping out on a teammate. She’s expanded her game being able to knock down shots from deep.
Highlights
Amya Leathers seemed to be all over the court constantly moving on offense to get open. She had a nice drive to the basket scoring through contact and making an old fashioned three point play. She was smart with the ball protecting the possession knowing when to make a pass or score herself on fast breaks. She was facilitating a lot of plays finding her open teammates for their points. She makes nice adjustments with her body catching a pass in transition and putting it right back up for some points.
Highlights
Alicia McClain crashed the boards getting inside for rebounds. She blocked shots, too, causing problems for anyone wanting to score by the basket. On defense, she jumped into passing lanes smacking the ball out of the way preventing her opponents from getting their offense going. Her long strides get her around her defender as she drives to the basket, and she makes her free throws count. She found her teammate flashing up the court for a fast break. She drove to the hoop opening up the paint for her teammates.
Highlights
Morgan Thompson had a floater over a post player showing she can score no matter who is in front of her. She makes nice adjustments on fast breaks to score her points. It seemed like no one could stop her floater game. She stripped the ball from her opponents when playing defense. She pushed the tempo, and she knew when to settle down, make a move, and score some points like showing off a nice spin move in transition.

Kaleah Cotton
Kaleah Cotton took advantage of her defender playing a step off pulling up for her jump shots. She had a nice crossover to get some separation, too. She used a between the leg move to a pull up from around the perimeter. She had a nice shot fake losing two defenders who were trying to come trap her. She was excellent finding her open teammates cutting up the court for some transition points. She even showed off her range knocking down a deep three.
Brooklyn Swann was using her strength power dribbling her way to some points on the block. She can catch and shoot, too, already finding the right position before she even gets the pass. She was excellent using ball fakes on fast breaks to score two points. She uses her length to jump in front of passes on defense. She didn’t shy away from contact either battling through it on fast breaks and having old fashioned three point plays.
