Continue ReadingThe offensive of game of Quinn VanSickle Quinn VanSickle 5’8″ | CG Valor Christian | 2025 State CO has taken a big jump over the last year. She has always been a dead-eye shooter with endless range. As last season unfolded, she proved she’s able to get to the rim and finish with a combination of layups and floaters. Next season she will have full control of the offense for Valor so the best of her has yet to come. This summer will be big for Quinn as she continues to expand her game on both ends of the floor.
Brealynn Barnett is a force to be reckoned with in the paint on either side of the ball. Body size, athleticism, and speed are all things she uses to her advantage. I have has yet to come across a player that has all 3. Brealynn has been able to become a difference-maker over the past couple of years without having very many plays called for her. Her willingness to crash the offensive glass gives her a lot of easy 2nd chance points.
Brooklyn Stewart Brooklyn Stewart 6’2″ | SF Pine Creek | 2025 State CO was able to come out of her shell this past season proving to be the player many already knew she could become the star forward was able to put Pine Creek into the conversation of elite teams this past season. Brooklyn has an unique skill set, being able to play inside and out at 6’3. During the year she was able to knock down the 3 consistently allowing the other to attack the lanes with minimum help side. As summer approaches I’m interested to what else she is able to add to her game going into her junior year.
A’Neya Chambers A’Neya Chambers 5’10” | CG Cherry Creek | 2025 State CO in my eyes is the ultimate sleeper in this class. She is a 5’10” combo guard that can really do it all on the defensive and offensive ends of the floor. She was the lockdown wing defender for Cherry Creek this past season giving them the toughest backcourt defensively. She plays passing lanes as well as anybody creating turnovers for run-out layups. Offensive, she is a slashing guard that gets to her spots at will, but she also has the ability to knock down the 3 ball when left unguarded.
Even at 10 Rylie Beers Rylie Beers 5’10” | CG Valor Christian | 2025 State CO is the most intriguing prospect in this class. She isn’t going to put up the big numbers or impress you with 10 different dribble moves. What she is going to do is impact winning at a high level on both sides of the floor. Rylie is a big guard that uses her size and strength to punish smaller players in the paint, forcing help which gives her the easy kick-out pass. Defensively she is long, athletic and as tough as they come. Once you add that in, along with her being able to guard 1-4 efficiently it makes it hard to take her off the floor.
