Top Programs Kick off Travel Season at Sunshine State Showdown

class="has-medium-font-size"><em>The High School season wrapped up last month and travel season has officially begun.  With several events over the past couple weeks, the Sunshine Showdown will welcome 130 teams to Wesley Chapel at the Wiregrass Sports Campus this weekend for 3 days and big-time action. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> They are led by Iowa State commit <strong>Aili Tanke</strong> on their 17U squad as well as a number of talented players.  Class of 2025 prospects <strong>Divine Bourrage</strong>, <strong>Journey first='Eris' last='Lester']</strong>.  The duo had big travel seasons last year playing up from 16U to 17U and carried it over to the high school season.  Syracuse commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='852071' first='Olivia' last='Schmitt']</strong>, <strong>Chloe Sotell</strong>, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='404442' first='Sofiah' last='Miller']</strong> are all newcomers to the Suns organization and will be leaned on for big roles.  <strong>Jim'Miyah Branton</strong> moves up to 16U on Team Larkins and will look to lead her squad along side class of 2026 newcomers
