Continue ReadingMiller has started where she left off after her freshman high school season and that is dominating her competition. Thus far this spring Miller has shown that she is expanding her game while still being her dominate self. She can attack off the dribble, score through contact, distribute to an open teammate, and can play some lockdown defense when motivated. This spring/summer her interest will continue to rise as one of the top players in the state of Iowa out of the 2026 class.
Breck Mills Breck Mills 6’1″ | PF Southeast Valley | 2024 State IA is an interested prospect with a lot of promise and an overall high ceiling. A player that I have seen compete a few times this spring and in those contests, she was/could have been the ‘X’ factor for her team. A forward with length, athleticism, physicality, and who can spread the floor with her jump-shooting ability. She isn’t shy of contact and more-so welcomes it. She is the type of player that can change the outcome of a game, solely based on her performance alone. Looking forward it’s going to be a big summer for her.
Zoey Belt
Zoey Belt
Zoey Belt. A name many don’t know but an individual who has been killing it as a role player for her Waukee Jam AAU squad this spring while always bringing a little flare of her own to make herself stand out. Belt is a 5’7 guard who does a number of different things on the floor for her team. Her versatility on the court stands out above most and usually always plays a crucial factor in her teams contests. She is a hard worker who competes every possession. She is going to be a name to know going forward.
Another player with great size, speed, and skill who is killing it during this AAU spring season already is Journey Houston Journey Houston 5’11” | CG Davenport North | 2025 State IA . Houston is the real deal. A top ranked player out of her class in Iowa and for good reason. Her talent when paired with the right teammates is next level. She can do everything that is asked of her on a high school floor other then maybe guard a true center, which she doesn’t really see in general anyways. She is another versatile player who is already getting D1 looks and I don’t expect that to slow down anytime soon.

Nakia Ollivierre Nakia Ollivierre 5’9″ | PG Waterloo West | 2026 IA put together a freshman season to remember. She is following it up with an AAU season to remember already and we are only in the month of May. Ollivierre is a superior athlete with a lot of talent. She is good on and off the ball, can score in waves, and defensively is a relentless pursuer of the basketball. Her length and athleticism is what really stand out about her. If she can continue on this path and continue to grow, we maybe seeing the start of truly something special.

One of the big post presence of the Waukee Jam 2025 team is a player with a great head on her shoulders, Paytn Harter Paytn Harter 6’0″ | SF Atlantic | 2025 State IA . Harter is a dominate big with a lot of skill when she catches near the basket. She can attack going either way and over either shoulder, can protect the rim better then most, and rebounds like a maniac. I think what makes her really good is her understanding. She is rarely sped up, plays within her lane, and knows when/where the double team is coming from at all times. Some really promising stuff when looking at her future.
Camdyn Kay Camdyn Kay 5’10” | CG Dubuque Hempstead | 2024 State IA is a player I have written about a few times this spring. An individual with a high motor, physical prowess, and a lot of heart who plays the game right. Each time I have had the chance to sit down to watch this team perform, she has been the X factor and it’s not even close. She brings so many good things to the floor that when she is missing it is very noticeable. This summer season leading into high school ball is going to be big for her and I’m sure she is going to make the most of it.
Callie Levin Callie Levin 5’10” | PG Solon | 2024 State IA , the University of Iowa women commit, has been showing off lately why she is highly talked about when it comes to the game of basketball. Levin, a quick and shifty point guard, does a little bit of everything for her teams, usually at an elite and efficient rate. With that being said her best ability is scoring the ball or finding an open teammate for an assist after she creates. This AAU season she switched to play for Martin Bros 17U UAA team. A move that I personally love because it seems like she is having much more fun while enjoying it to its fullest and that’s what it should be all about. If you can catch her play live, do it, you won’t be disappointed.
