Continue ReadingMisa is a true playmaker who can do it all. She has a very high basketball IQ and when you put the ball in her hands, good things seem to happen. She does a great job penetrating through traffic and finishing or finding the open teammate. She is very good three point shooter but she does not force shots which makes her very efficient. She is an excellent defender. She was able to anticipate passes on defense and jump right in the middle of passing lanes to cause turnovers. There were moments where you wondered how she was able to get from point A to B so quickly and disrupt the flow of the opponent’s offense. She has very active hands and overall excellent defensive awareness.
Brianna is one of the fastest PG’s in the state. When she is in transition it appears as if she has been shot right out of cannon. She commands a double and triple team and sometimes that still may not be enough. She can get to the rack at will and attacks hard. She is a true floor general who directs traffic and knows where everyone is supposed to be which is a trademark of any top tier PG. Defensively, she can guard baseline to baseline and works relentlessly to get the ball out of her opponents’ hands.
Highlights
Adelaide holds offers from several ACC schools and also picked up an offer from Harvard which tells you everything you need to know about her. She can play the 1-4 and she does not have many weaknesses. She’s an extremely strong shooter and is a threat to score any time she crosses half court. With her size advantage, she can rise up over the top of defenders and knock down her shot with ease. She is very patient and sees the floor well, knowing how to beat the mismatch when she gets the double sent her way. Just an overall special talent.
Rayana is the kind of PG that coaches crave. She averaged over 15 ppg last season as a freshman and she is only scratching the surface of what she will become over the next few years. She is very unselfish and can defend with the best of them. It is obvious that she takes pride in her defense and knows how to get her hands in the pockets of defenders to snatch the ball away. She is lightening quick and can get down the floor in a hurry. She is very good at taking what the defense gives her and doesn’t force anything.
Reese did a good job Saturday of playing both on and off the ball. She moves extremely well off the ball and can shoot lights out from the perimeter. Reese is versatile enough to fit into any backcourt and adjust to whatever the offense needs her to do. She is extremely dangerous from deep and defenders must get a hand her face or she will make the defense pay.

You’d be hard pressed to find a more dynamic ball handler than Jaida. She has ball on a string and can dribble through heavy traffic without missing a beat. She is sneaky quick and can get the step on defenders to access driving lanes. She can get to the rim and uses her physicality to go right at opponents. She can be a facilitator when called upon and doesn’t have to dominate the ball to be effective.
