McKinzy is the primary beneficiary of Acree’s drive-and-kick assists. Taylor is a very good three-point shooter. She’s wiry, athletic and skilled on both ends of the floor. Taylor racked up assists and provided versatile defense inside and out. McKinzy has a bright future and has great synergy with Acree.
Already with SEC offers in hand, Finley flashed her Power 5 upside throughout camp. While she had some freshman moments from time to time, Parker more than held her own against the toughest teams in the state and had college coaches swooning over her potential. With elite size and true guard skills, Finley is a walking mismatch. She’s talented off the dribble, able to score with either hand. She shoots from the perimeter well and is effective around the rim. Parker provides more length to any already long River Ridge front line. Her ceiling is sky high.

While it seems soccer is her future, a nationally recognized star, Kersh is pretty darn good at basketball too. Bristol is a D-I athlete. She’s dynamic with her speed and quickness. Bristol is a true playmaker, a pass-first guard that loves to attack downhill and dump off assists. She uses eurosteps to get to the basket and is a threat to pull from the perimeter. Defensively, she is a menace from sideline to sideline, beating ball handlers to the spot. Kersh will be in the running for Class 4A Freshman of the Year. Expect her to fill the box score nightly.
I loved the energy Mariah Brown Mariah Brown 5’10” | SF Central Gwinnett | 2027 State GA brought to Central Gwinnett. I had to do a double-take when I found out she was just a freshman. Mariah plays with immense energy. She’s athletic and long. Brown crashes the glass hard and never gives up on plays defensively, swatting shots and guarding inside and out. Her motor and versatility will help Central Gwinnett be one of the more athletic teams in the area.
Rogers looks the part of a future High Major. The rising freshman has already been in the weight room and her skill set is advanced. Pick your poison with Giaunni. She’s a three-level scorer. Rogers is crafty downhill and is knockdown shooter with a beautiful compact stroke. I would be surprised if Giaunni didn’t contend for one of the top spots in Georgia’s 2027 class.
Landrum is one for the future. She is all arms and legs, extremely long. When she came in off the bench, she knew how to impact games. Morgan used her wingspan to alter shots and collect rebounds. She has a great player to study in front of her in Ava Andrews Ava Andrews 6’1″ | SF North Paulding | 2025 State GA . Landrum has a chance to become a very good player.

The smallest player on the floor was one of the most consistent for New Manchester. Devin is a lethal three-point shooter. She filled it up from deep and did a good job handling pressure at point guard. Her shot making and poise will go a long way.
