I watched Madison play a bit on South Lakes, and she has improved so much since I watched her early in her freshman season. She dominated her team’s first game by doing everything. She was active defensively, getting steals and making life difficult on the ball for whoever she was guarding. She is a fantastic passer and seemed committed to getting to the rim. Her aggressiveness and IQ made her the best player on the court, and I’m excited to see what she’ll do entering her sophomore season.
I mentioned that this AAU season would be big for Ava Limcaoco Ava Limcaoco 5’2″ | PG Paul VI | 2025 State VA because it might go a long way in her role at PVI next year. She was impressive this weekend, initiating all her team’s offense and knocking down shots. She is an excellent ball handler, and she creates a lot of good looks for her. Creating open looks for yourself at her size can be challenging, but she does a good job.

2026 Forward Katherine Maroulis Katherine Maroulis 6’2″ | C St. Paul VI | 2026 VA impressed me with her defensive effort. Her rebounding and defensive presence were both spectacular. She blocked shots and was very disciplined in doing it. Katherine will be a bigger name at some point, and I expect her to have a bigger role on PVI somewhere down the line.
