Elizabeth Seton guard Nadeya Regala Nadeya Regala 5’9″ | CG Elizabeth Seton | 2025 State MD is one of the best players in Maryland for the 2025 class. She is an elite shooter and is productive playing either guard position. She is a terrific scorer and passer and impacts the game offensively in a plethora of ways.
Another Elizabeth Seton guard on this team that can play either guard position is Reneiyah Pickering. She is super cerebral and usually makes the right play. She is efficient and a good scorer. She is more of a true PG than Regala, but again, she can play the 1 or 2.
Jezelle Banks
Jezelle Banks
Jezelle Banks playing two years up on a highly talented team like Team Durant tells you all you need to know about how good she is. She’s not just on the roster. She is also one of their best players. Jezelle gives you everything you want out of a guard. She competes defensively and uses her length fantastically. On offense, she is spectacular when she attacks the rim. Her crafty finishing and ball handling make her a tough guard. Her passing, especially when going downhill, is so fun to watch. She is remarkable as a distributor.
I watched many girls on this team play at DMVlive last month, and Labrea Carter Labrea Carter 5’10” | SF Riverdale Baptist | 2026 State MD was one of the most impressive girls there. She was one of the most physically impressive players. She used that physicality to haul in rebounds and finish through contact getting to the line. The more and more polished her game is, the harder she’ll be to stop.
Osbourn Park Forward Alexandria Brown Alexandria Brown 6’2″ | PF Osborne Park | 2025 State VA was an intriguing player to watch this summer. She has loads of potential, and I could see her breaking out and having a massive year in her Junior season. She is a double-double machine and uses her size to effect a lot of shots around the rim. She has a nice mid-range and a solid post-game.
Kaliyah Murphy Kaliyah Murphy 6’0″ | PF Elizabeth Seton | 2025 State MD ‘s activity on the glass is always what impresses me. She is quicker and more athletic than the person guarding her when she’s playing forward, and she’s bigger and stronger than the person defending her when she’s playing wing. She excels when she uses her quickness to get to the rim and can give defenders trouble when aggressive.
