It’s only a starting point for rankings and the list will grow and change with each coming update but we have enough information to start our 2027 rankings. Here’s a look at the top 5 prospects in the class.
“Tootie” takes the top spot in the first ever 2027 rankings by a razor thin margin. Jordan is a true point guard with a tight handle and a quick first step. As an 8th grader, she led Male in scoring at 12 points per game. As a freshman, she’ll have a role for an absolutely loaded Sacred Heart team with plans of winning a fourth straight KHSAA state title.
Stamper is actually my personal pick for the number 1 player in the class. Kennedy is poised and super skilled with the sort of passing and shot making that you just don’t see with prospects her age. GRC is right there with Sacred Heart in the mix to win it all and Kennedy will play a huge role in any long term success they see this season.

The third prospect in our rankings is also the third young lady who holds a D1 offer already. Murray State offered the sharpshooter from Cooper. The Lady Jags have to replace Whitney Lind and a lot of that burden will likely fall on Haylee as a freshman. Noel is very capable and is the best shooter on this list. She shot 48/47/78 last year. That’s super efficient.
Kinner had the most impressive stats as an 8th grader when she led Paintsville in scoring at nearly 18 per game. A volume scorer, Kylie will need to continue getting more comfortable attacking the rim after shooting more threes than twos last season. With good size and a growing skill set, Kinner starts as our top prospect in the mountains in 27.

Her 8th grade varsity season was limited to only 14 games last year but Claire averaged a very impressive 16 points and 13 rebounds in the 14 games she suited up for. Long term, Marshall needs to become a better three point shooter but that part of her game will come if she works at it. Excited to see what Marshall does this season for West Jess.
