Middle School Standouts at Reps on Reps Showcase

In this article we hilight a few of the players who stood out at the Showcase. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='708143' first='Kendall' last='Proffitt'] / 2028 SG / St Johns Country Day </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Proffitt had some very good performances during the Summer travel season. She was lights out in Louisville, Ky, shooting the cover off of the ball from everywhere on the court. At National Championship she was impressive again, showcasing her versatile skillset. At 5'10, she has the ability to play outside and caSaint Johns n also get to the rim and attack. At the Reps on reps showcase, Proffitt knocked down a lot of spot up jumpers and showed her high basketball IQ. She is definitely one of the top talents in the 2028 class and will play varsity basketball at St Johns Country Day. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='514915' first='Maeghan' last='Hicks'] / 2028 Guard / Landon Middle School </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hicks was really impressive at the Reps on Reps Middle School Showcase. She was aggressively on the attack early and often. She had some nice finishes on the baseline with a few floaters and drives to the basket. Hicks played on both sides of the ball and was a defensive menace at the Reps on Reps showcase. She converted steals into layups and showed that she is one of the best young players on the Middle School level in the Jacksonville area. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='708144' first='Jocelyn' last='Hoffman'] / 2028 Guard / Landrum </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hoffman was impressive at the Reps on Reps showcase and showed why she is one of the best up and point guards on the First Coast. Hoffman can shoot the ball from behind the three and does a good job of setting up her shooters. Over the summer, Hoffman put on a ball handling clinic at times and her passes to teammate [player_tooltip player_id='708143' first='Kendall' last='Proffitt'] were lethal at times. Hoffman is also an elite on the ball defender with a high basketball IQ. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='750601' first='Gabrielle' last='Malory'] / 2028 Forward / Orange Park Junior High </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Malory was a standout at the Reps on Reps showcase. She performed well around ghe paint, displaying some great footwork and the ability to put the ball in the basket. Malory showed a lot of versatility on the court, guarding taller players on the inside and covering guards out in space. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1136118' first='Reah' last='Saunders'] / 2030 Guard / Hilliard </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Saunders turned on the jets and pushed the pace all day long at Reps on Reps. Saunders displayed great ball handling abilitities, great court vision, and the ability to get the ball to her teammates. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='750609' first='Raniah' last='Small'] / 2028 Guard / Springfield </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Small showed the play making skills at Reps on Reps. She moved up and down the courty rapidly and got to the rim. Small played big, scoring, rebounding, and dfefending at a high level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='750603' first='Judah' last='Smith'] / 2029 Guard / San Jose Prep </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith played well at the Reps on Reps showcase. Smith is an aggressive offensive player who loves to get to the rim. She was also a tough mindeded defensive player who played an in your face style of defense. Smith was impressive at a lot of Inside Exposure events over the summer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
