PGH Freshman Showcase GA Top Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Girls Hoop Freshman Showcase had talent from all over the state of Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama. The guards stole the show on the day with behind the back passes and spin moves in the paint. A player that can take over a game but also get her teammates involved. Her ability to pull the triple in transition or get to the paint on the dribble drive had her defenders trying to figure out her next move. Just a pure scorer but also doesn't mind picking up to defend full court. Great court vision and numerous highlights on the day. The plays and her ability to score as soon as she steps on the court made you wonder if she is really a freshman. A player that can score at all 3 levels and knows how to get downhill and finish through the contact.  Her ability to see the floor and anticipate the next pass led to some easy scoring opportunities for her and her teammates.  She averaged over 20 points in all 3 games and even put up at 27-point performance. Her quickness is her specialty as she uses it to slice through the defense and score at the rim. A player that has one of the best step-back jumpers I have seen in a long time. More importantly her ability to make pinpoint passes and see through small passing lanes is her forte. A player that can score with both hands but also step out to shoot the 3 ball as well. Great handles which allow her to push the ball well in transition. Her ability to pull up for the 3 ball in transition but also get downhill creates easy scoring opportunities for her. A player that is not afraid to put her head down and attack the basket.
