Getting everyone involved with the ball seems to be one of the main focal points for Taylor. Coming off her freshman year she averaged 9 points and 5 assist, being a key piece for her team. She finds ways to get her teammates involved with her ability to pass with either hand and on time. She is aggressive and can get down hill to be a scoring threat which creates some opportunities for her teammates when she draws the help. She finished the year with 137 assist, coming in top 5 in her 2026 class in the state. Expect her to continue to make everyone better these next three years at Concord Academy.
To start, Miley has very good size for her position that helps her contribute on both ends of the floor. She can play all over the floor and looks comfortable doing so at such a young age on varsity. She rebounds, pushes the ball in transition, and looks for others before looking for her own shot. She uses her size to see over the defense, and finds teammates where they are most successful. She finished the year with 144 assist, and was consistent in other areas of the game as well. Look for her as her role grows to be a potential triple double threat.
Oshauna is a quick shifty guard, who does a good job attacking seems and picking the defense apart. She uses her speed to beat the defender off the dribble to convert at the rim or draw help. She feeds the post, and makes the right passes off the bounce. She can take over a game by creating for herself or others, not to mention her defense and the way she moves her feet and plays the passing lanes Coming off a 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assist, and 5 steals per game season, look for her to make a push as one of the top points guards in the state regardless of class and one of the best passers.
Highlights
One point guard to watch as her role continues to grow and she has more opportunities is Tristan Shivers Tristan Shivers 5’4″ | PG Hoggard | 2026 NC . Capable on or off the ball she attacks the rim, has good hands and awareness defensively. She gets the ball out quickly ahead when opportunities present themselves and takes advantage of drive kick situations. Coming off averaging 4 assist per game as a freshman look for her playmaking to continue to make an impact.
Kiara is a rising sophomore with good athleticism, plays with a ton of energy, and fundamentally sound. She doesn’t do much outside her game and looks for the right play more times than not. Strong going to her right side, quick first step, and moves pretty well laterally. Coming off an 11 points and 4 assist per game season, as she adds more to her game it will continue to open up opportunities to facilitate to her teammates.
