Jaiden Thompson is a player who can fill in on any role on the court. She’s aggressive attacking the basket protecting the possession and scoring some points. She’s fluid with her ball handling, and she can get inside posting up for her points, too. Her ability to see the floor well is apparent as she finds the open lanes, or she makes the perfect dish to her teammates after drawing opponents towards her.
My’Asia Young is a fun athlete to watch with her ability to play tough on both ends of the court. Her defense really stands out as she knows how to jump into passing lanes to grab the steal, and she’s quick handling the ball pushing it up the court. She can make the pass to her teammates on a fast break, or she can use her own handles to get to the basket finishing on both sides of the rim. In set offensive plays, she is constantly moving knowing how to shift the defense and time her cuts to get the open look.
Mackenzie Ortscheid is another athlete who can do it all for her teams on the court. She gets inside sealing off her opponents on the block looking for the entry pass. She can go to work using her feet to get the right angle to score her points. Opponents have trouble guarding her, though, as she can knock down her shot from deep, too. She is sure to get rebounds on both ends of the court, and you can bet she will be one of the most vocal players on the court.
Rayana Minard was a leader for West Cabarrus even as a freshman. As the main guard controlling the ball up the court, she found ways to make her moves and attack the basket. She is smooth getting by her opponents changing directions and causing her defenders to lose their footing. You can see her talent, too, by the way she can stop quickly pulling up for a jumper all over the court. Her speed is evident on defense with the way she can strip the ball and push the steals up the court.

She comes right in executing offensive plays knowing how to come off screens and get the open shot. She is certain to hit multiple three pointers for her team as she stays ready to put up her shot off the pass. Her handles are good with the ball attacking the basket for some points, too.
