Chiawana
Chiawana makes it to the final four. With two players like Malia Ruud Malia Ruud 6'2" | PF Chiawana | 2025 State WA and Kaia Foster Kaia Foster 6'2" | SF Chiawana | 2025 State WA , they might have the best duo over 6’0 in the state. Throw in a couple of ranked guards in Gianna Medelez Gianna Medelez 5'8" | CG Chiawana | 2026 State WA , and Marisela Contreras Marisela Contreras 5'5" | CG Chiawana | 2025 State WA and you have a solid backcourt to go with the bigs. Although both Ruud and Foster will be threats to hit deep balls as well. Chiawana makes the jump from a non state qualfier to the final four in class 4A.
Willl lead class 3A in scoring this season as an all state performer. Lakeside beat Garfield once last season. That will be tougher to do this season without Claire O’Conner but it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
Ellensburg
Ellensburg loses its first game in three seasons. I’m not sure who it will be that knocks then off but they still win the class 2A state title for the 3rd season in a row. Imagine a bold prediction being the first loss in the last three years.
Nooksack
Nooksack goes undefeated. Not that bold but nobody comes within 15 points of them all the season long as they repeat in class 1A.
Camas
Camas wins the class 4A state title, even though Brooklynn Haywood Brooklynn Haywood 5'8" | PG Union | 2026 State WA won’t be playing there after all. Maybe it’s Chiawana in the title game? Kamiakin? Bothell? Woodinville? Not to predict a final four but don’t be surprised if these other three teams are in that group. Woodinville being a fairly safe bet with Jacey Eggers Jacey Eggers 6'2" | PF Woodinville | 2024 State WA , Lyla Kahrimanovic Lyla Kahrimanovic 6'0" | SG Woodinville | 2024 State WA , and Hailey Quiggle Hailey Quiggle 5'9" | SG Woodinville | 2025 State WA leading the way.
Nooksack vs Kings
Kings vs Nooksack for the 1A title. Kings has the 2nd best player in 1A, aside from a healthy Grace Hintz Grace Hintz 5'9" | CG Lynden Christian | 2025 State WA in Kaleo Anderson Kaleo Anderson 5'11" | PG Kings | 2026 State WA . Devin Coppinger Devin Coppinger 5'10" | CG Nooksack Valley | 2024 State WA is repeat MVP.
Lake Washington
Lake Washington makes the final four in class 3A. Led by a dynamic backcourt in Ashley Uusitalo Ashley Uusitalo 5'9" | SG Lake Washington | 2026 State WA , super freshman Julia Benthin Julia Benthin 5'8" | CG Lake Washington | 2027 WA , and Paige Citron Paige Citron 5'7" | CG Lake Washington | 2025 State WA .
Colfax vs Okanogan
Again not so bold but this is a repeat of last year’s championship game in class 2B. Here’s a little bit bolder of a statement. Colfax doesn’t lose a game next year or the year after making it three straight undefeated season’s. They didn’t lose one last season.
Cashmere
If iit’s not Kings vs Nooksack, it will Cashmere in the 1A title game and finishing runner-up to undefeated Nooksack.
Lynden
Lynden is your 2A runner-up. Led by Sophomore center Payton Mills Payton Mills 6'2" | C Lynden | 2026 State WA and freshman Finley Parcher Finley Parcher 6'0" | SF Lynden | 2027 WA . Throw in a solid returning backcourt and Lynden will find itself in familiar territory once again in 2024.
Not so bold
Now that I have finished, these aren’t so bold to me. Sounds better to say they are, so I will stick with it.
